Update (12:45pm): The Commons is back up. We are investigating the cause of the downtime.
The Commons experienced server downtime on November 12, 2016 from approximately 3pm-3:50pm. Our team is currently working with our server hosts to determine the cause of the outage.
We apologize for the downtime and thank you for your patience. The site is currently functioning normally.
The 1.10 release of the CUNY Academic Commons will take place on the morning of November 7, 2016. The update will require 2-3 minutes of downtime, sometime around 10:15am EST. This post will be updated when the downtime is complete.

[9:19pm] Response times on commons.gc.cuny.edu and related sites are currently very slow. The team is investigating.
[9:58pm] The Commons should now be responding normally. The outages were due to networkwide issues at the Graduate Center, which have been cleared up.
The Commons is currently experiencing SSL configuration issues that are making it impossible to log into the site or visit HTTPS pages without receiving browser security warnings. The Commons team and GC IT are looking into the problem. Stay tuned to this space for updates.
UPDATE (2016-10-24 10:46am EDT): IT has resolved this issue. Logins and other SSL pages should be loading properly.
