[10:15pm EST] The Commons is currently unavailable while we investigate some abnormal behavior.
[Update 10:37pm EST] The site is available again. The problem appears to be related to a corrupted object cache, which was resolved with a hard flush of Memcached.
The Commons will be offline for a few minutes for maintenance related to recent performance issues.
[4:35pm] The site is back online. We’ve put an emergency caching layer in front of one of the sources of the issues, and site resources are stabilizing.
The Commons is experiencing some slow response times this afternoon. The team is continuing to investigate.

The Commons experienced server downtime on November 12, 2016 from approximately 3pm-3:50pm. Our team is currently working with our server hosts to determine the cause of the outage.
We apologize for the downtime and thank you for your patience. The site is currently functioning normally.
The 1.10 release of the CUNY Academic Commons will take place on the morning of November 7, 2016. The update will require 2-3 minutes of downtime, sometime around 10:15am EST. This post will be updated when the downtime is complete.
